Found the problem finally... Put a body lift in and while I was there noticed some of the body mount rubbers were shot. Fixed it all up and back together and now no knocking noises.

How hard is it to remove the tank?

No it's definately inside the tank. As when you stop rocking the car, the fuel still sloshes a couple more times and the knock is still there.

Yeah that's what i'm looking for, something in a 0. Finding it difficult to track any down though. Everything is either only 7" wide or has negative offset.
