2004 3.3ltr starting issue

Hey guys, have 2004 d22 petrol with current starting issue, went to start today slight click and then nothing, no crank at all only ignition lights, pulled wires off starter and cleaned up, checked fuses, still nothing, any help be appreciated

Sounds like a battery that can't deliver the amps needed. Your starter needs about 500 amps to turn over.

Try jump starting off a similar vehicle (ie not a petrol car, their batteries can't deliver the CCA needed).

My first thought aswell.

Is your model the one with the dual engine bay batteries?
