2008 Timing Chain

I have a 2008 D22 YD25 STR Dual Cab. I am led to believe that this model has a dual timing chain as original (It was one of the first new release D22 models in Australia with the new YD25 common rail motor). Can anyone fill me in as to wether this is true? If not should I be upgrading to a dual timing chain set up? I have owned it since new and have now done 127'000Ks. Cheers.

It will be a single row chain mate, most of the D22's seldom have an issue but for peace of mind you could fit a duel row. Speak to Paul at YD25.com.

duplex chains were only fitted to non common rail D22's we got in europe, the ones later got a simplex but never heard a d22 with a problem, probably since it makes less power than a d40 so less strain on the chain itself.
