2010 d22 str crank sensor

Hi guys I have a 2010 nissan str and have had a engine light recently come on, to cut a long stroy short , I traced it back to engine code 0335 (crank shaft sensor ) I have since replaced it today but engine light is still on. Do I need to reset the ecu or clear the codes or something for it to go. Or could my problem be more then that. any info would be greatly appreciated

Remove ppsitive terminal from batteries for 5minutes and replace. This will clear codes

Sorry, I saw the title and thought "this one I should leave for someone else!".

As said, just remove the battery lead. You can stomp on the brake pedal to make sure the power's all gone before reattaching the lead - that'll speed things up a whole lot.

Thanks very much guys I thought I would be that simple, should get my car back tomorrow from having a new clutch fitted now I can put my mind at ease
