This is pretty much a checklist for those who are looking at purchasing 2nd hand hard covers and are unsure of what components are required.
I had this dilemma of finding out the cover I purchased did not come with all the components but it was pretty cheap. It ended up costing me at $400+ for the missing parts.
Following is a number of photos of my cover after buying all the missing parts and installed.
The hinges is 2 parts. One part needs to be mounted to the tray via a "aluminium extruded bar" which is riveted on the lip of the tray giving it a horizontal flat area to mount the hinge plates. Yes, the mountings require drilling holes into your tray for the rivets.
The funny looking plates with 3 holes in it are some kind of support for the small pieces that the roll bar sit on top. Still not sure if its fitted corrected. They maybe 4 of these but I only got 2 and still works without the 2.
There are also 2 small pentagon shape plate with a ball pin, that is the mount for the strut. These need to be riveted to the tray.
Then there's 2 small L shape plates with 2 long holes, they are for the cam lock to slide on to when you turn the key on the lock.
Last but not least. Make sure you get 2 keys with the cover.
