3" lift...wait a second

Of all the lifts above 3" they all seem to come with extended shackles so does this mean you're all running entirely illegal lift kits?

extended shackles may be illegal in some places and in a lot of cases not needed.
D22's suffer from really weak rear springs. if its had any decent load the springs will have sagged.
so replacing or fixing the sagged springs can give you the required lift.

all of our 2" lifts are done by adding extra leaf(s).

Any lift over 2 inches is illegal.

When I got my lift done the installer (Opposite Lock) said that any greasable shackles were illegal.

I have a 3 inch lift in mine but in a spring pack. I haven't got extended shackles

Extended shackles are illegal in Victoria but what cop measures them just don't get big blue ones like they sell online it stands out like dogs balls. Extended springs are only 300 or so and give way better ride quality.
