Hi got an issue after a wheel alignment at full lock the rear of the passenger front tyre will rub on the chassis, Iv'e noticed that there is more thread wound out on the passenger side so i'm guessing they have done this to keep the steering wheel straight, So if i was to jack up the front and wined in the passenger side steering rod until it didn't touch the chassis and then wined out the drivers side the same distance then re-align my steering wheel on it's spline would this fix my problem, what do you think am i on the money or not! cheers

Correct me if I'm wrong. But wouldn't your car then be 'crabbing' and wearing your rear wheel tyres out a lot.

ok so i tried this and it was fine but there must be a sensor somewhere on the steering because the vdc off and slip light came on. does anyone know where these sensor's might be would it be on the rack or the steering wheel end.
