an idea.

hey guys .

so i picked up my dirt bike the other day in my dual cab d40 and i hear storys about being booked for having the tail gate down etc....

so i started thinking ........ lol

on the d40 there are screws exposed to access the tail gate handle by the looks ... my idea is to create a bracket that can screw to these points and be removable etc ... the bracket will contain my number plate and light that would plug into the trailer plug ....

i dont know if anyone has made anything like this before , or if this isnt a good enough solution...

Have you tried searching tailgate cage in Google. Might be what you are after. Ur idea is purely to have the numberplate and stuff further off the back

You may be able to put your number plate ect on the bars, and it will also stop any other gear from sliding out the tray

I'm not after more space just simply moving the number plate to make it visible to speed cameras lol
