Anderson plug alternative

G'day

Saw these in the supercrap catalogue and thought i'd show them here, incase anyone might have been looking for alternatives. Clearly designed to try and compete with Anderson plugs, but at $20 each I'm not so sure they will succeed.

Anderson plugs are cheap on ebay
30 bucks for 10 for the 50amp

Merrit plugs / sockets are good too

Not sure about the "Split Pin" design, bad enough keeping good contact on 7 pin flat plugs, if they close up a bit possibly bad contact. has anyone seen these in the flesh? are the pins split to allow for a tight fit? maybe.

i used to use merit plugs for my fridge
i found they would rattle loose over time and fall apart,and sometimes fall out of socket
now i use 50amp anderson plugs for fridge,solar panel and inverter

They look aright not sure I'd hand then from the trailer, but for other 50amp jobs should work.

I personally use the Anderson plugs also, it was more so just for discussion as above.

Havn't seen any in person unfortunately to see how they look.
