arb rear step install 2011 d22

G'day
Just asking if anyone has installed a arb rear step and if they have
whether it bolts in the same place as the original tow bar

I have put one on my nav, it will use the existing bolt holes of the original Towbar.. Once it's mounted you will have to drill a few holes through the chassis for some additional mounting bolts. It's all pretty easy.

have arb released it for the 09 onwards models? i hadnt heard they had realeased it. they were in the same boat TJM were and had everything fro the short bed model not the long tub model.

They released it a year or so ago now, tjm must not have much demand because I tryed to get a quote and they said only the short tub model one is available.

ARB has one out.
A mate has one on but seems to fit a little sloppy.
Plenty of space between the tub body and the bar that runs to the rear tyre.
If you are after more clearance, in my opinion it's not that much more than the chrome Nissan bumper.

doesn't give much clearance but sure protects better, and the step is way more comfortable than the stock plastic junk. I'v had a ARB rear bar on mine for almost a year now
