Are these too much?

I just finished the sliders for my 05 single cab.... im now looking at them thinking i may have gone over the top a bit. Im not sure....what do you think?

Phew... I'm glad. That was the theory I was working on Dave, they have a but of weight to them but I know there strong!

Are they gusseted on the other side mate? That's all I'd be adding if they aren't, other than that looks good.

No I didn't.... I did think about it. I thought the 65mmx35mm steel would be enough.... You have me thinkin now jas is it essential.... Did you get that pm about the Mt Mee, Dayboro area?

you won't need more gussetting on those brackets...what you have is plenty

I think they need gusset. Test them with the high lift once they're bolted on.

I've dropped the full wieght of my ute on mine (no gussets) and didn't bend em. My ute weighs 2.3T, I'm sure his single cab weighs less. I reckon unless you have a heavy loaded patrol or cruiser you'll be fine without the extra gussets. Plus his is square tube so have longer vertical welds.
