spent last new years there and thinking about robe again this year myself.
little dip conservation park is a great spot, pay your dues though (about $10 pn as they do daily checks and hand out fines if you havent paid)
drive from robe to beachport is sensational...lots of sand..low pressures and mates to snatch u out will help...sand can get pretty soft and keep high side. saw a couple of very close calls last year.
