body lift and insurance

over a few brews last night with the brother in law, the issue was raised about lifting my Nav.

I mentioned about a bodylift and the brother in law informed me that insurance companies will not insure your vehicle if it is fitted with airbags and a bodylift.

I am going to call my insurance company (suncorp) and enquire tomorrow.

Has anybody else had an issue with insurance and bodylifts?

I think most Insurance companies will go by if its 100% road legal then they will insure it
GIO coveres mine with aftermarket UCA and Coilovers because they are covered by an Engineers report and passed by rego
