Can anyone help me with info about noise from turbo?

Hi Everyone, I have a problem with my turbo on my 2004 22d ZD30. It's making a loud hissing sound when the tubro kicks in as if the pressure leak out and doesn't have as much power climbing hills. Otherwise motor seem to be running fine. Does anyone have any idea what it could be because the machanics I have taken it to have no idea?

Boost leak somewhere. Check turbo bolts, egr pipes and intake pipes an hoses

Just had a thought ( which is rare) Where would I be able to find the torque set for the bolts they need to be tighten a setting?

If you need new hoses go to enzed or pirtek or similar, I got my hoses for about ten bucks each versus Nissan at over a hundred each

Have to check with the manufacturer of the turbo. I'll check the esm tomorrow and are if I find anything there but doubt it

also check for exhaust leak especially the egr pipe. they are known to crack.

+1. I have a small leak in mine that I must fix soon - but you should nearly see soot in the engine bay if this is the case (It's how I found mine).
