Catchcan for egr blanking plate question.......

Hi all have been reading numerous threads regarding fitting a egr plate, I have a 2007 Spanish d40 2.5 now I'm just wondering once I fit the egr plate is it mandatory to fit a catch can too or am I ok just to fit the plate and be on my way. I can't seem to find any threads answering this question. Cheers guys.

its not mandatory to fit a catch can. you can fit one at any time.
but its certainly beneficial in the long term.

Catch cans can be bought at Supercheap, Autobahn etc - but you get what you pay for.

Forefront Industries manufacture two types of can and you should take a look at those.
