Hey guys

What's a safe height over standed before cv angles start to get bad?

Reason I ask is because I don't yet have adjustable ucas and won't have for a month or more :(

The uca dont make a difference with the cv angles bout 10 to 15 degress is max what i know of i could be wrong. Ive seen way more then 15 degre angles and havent seen them snap. Before you snap a cv you will brake your diff like i did lol.
Ive done some decent tracks and my CVs have never let me down

Photo of your cv angles please subz and what's your front and rear ride heights centre of rim to guard?

from what I've heard from a 4x4 specialist is anything more than 15 degrees is getting nasty.
i don't think its the angle that will snap them, if your doing something thats going to snap them they'll snap if they're flat. more angle they'll wear out quicker.

Rastas can you please get me a pic of tour front end setup under the car showing coils uca's and cvs :) when you get a chance

Here's my angels right on the money i reackon

Running 285 / 17 /16 tyres
620 at the front
670 at the back i got that extra 50mm for toweing and also looks mad

As mine sits standed and only on 265/65/17s it sits at 510 centre of rim to guard So yours is 110mm taller in the front still with safe cv angle :/ wow

Yes it is lol ive had a lot of ppl stop me on the track. Couldn't believe the high and still good angles
Tracks ive hit

Zig zag
Telegraph track
Wombat hole

Mt walka
Play ground
Also hit the up hill man what an up help intense track

Nowra
A few tracks there

Meani
Very intense terain big rocks to climb

Never had in issue with a cv snaping

True thanks happy John my coils can Run his height but cvs wouldn't be as good of an angle I don't think will know when my shakels arrive :) thanks subz

All up it will be a 4inch lift plus 3inch on tyer size i think lol the body lift is done to fit them darn tyers

With a lot of rubbing if i keept my factory rims maybe but im running a zero off set rim even with all the lift i still rub on the gurad ive cut them back now still slight rub

I was ruining 33's before on my factory rim only issue i had that the tyre would rub on the chasie. Then i decided to take them off for the zero off set rim from dynamic made a big diffrance 35mm past the guard looks awesome
