hi am having this problem with my drum brakes locking up when go to use them even just touching the pedal lightly, it is even worse in the wet plz help.

Load proportioning valve needs checking, the rears shouldn't do much work at all if your not carrying anything.

Dave.

Under the tray, there will be lines coming off it going to the rear brakes.

Dave.

Check the spring is attatched to it or have it checked out by a brake specialist.

Dave.

sorry dave this might sound stupid but i cant find any thing under they tray that looks like a valve but there is a vale looking thing underneath the driver door area would the be it

It will be pretty much above the rear diff.

Download the D22 service manual in the D22 section as a D22 is pretty much a updated D21.

I gotta head out to work so Ill reply more tomorrow.

Dave.

ok i replaced the load prop valve and it doesnt lock up int dry unless you jump on the pedal but it still does it in the wet

Rear brakes or fronts ?

The front will as they do pretty much all the braking in general driving with a empty tray.

The rears if the tray is empty shouldn't do any work really if they do its bugger all.

Dave.

Sounds like you have it sorted............... the problem now is the grip on your tyres.

If you only use it on road then consider highway terrain tyres that will give you more grip hence less locking up when braking.
