D22 Ashtray Options

Hello, This is my first post. I have 2007 D22 STR and have been so disappointed with the 2 silly Ashtrays wasting real estate in the centre.(Reformed Smoker 70 a day) I saw a thread about Cig Lighters and that's cool. I have a UHF lying on the centre console always in the way and just cant help thinking someone has had some great ideas or found some way to remove the Ash trays and use the real estate??? VCup Holders?? My only issue with D22 is lack of storage and trays. And the cup holders are impossible to get ur tinny from the lifted lid when driving. Any ideas would be great out there.

Hi Thanks for that. Boy someone is keen. Ha, Maybe I'll Bang 2 cup holders on the front of the ashtrays? save me digging under my armpits for my coldie in the console lid
