D22 Fuel Injector issue?

Hello,
New to this site but it looks helpful. Can anyone offer advice on why my D22 is cutting in and out whilst driving. It has not completly stalled yet but it feels like it wants to. Mostly happening in 2nd gear although does happen in all gears. When this happens it would look like a "bunny hop"

first thing i would check is air in the fuel. fit a clear bit of fuel line on the pump outlet. look for bubbles.
also check fuel filter.

Thank you tweak'e we started small, first things first I guess and found it 1st try - new fuel pump it is running better than ever! I was so worried it was the ingector pump becasue I was quoted $6k for a part.

fuel pump?? or do you mean fuel primer (on top of fuel filter) ?
none of the diesels run fuel pumps.

Sorry, fuel filter replaced! not primer and NOT pump.
