D22 QD32 Water Pump

Hey all, just wondering if it's the water pump pully that is the main drive pully for all the others? it's screeching badly and pouring out a decent amount of smoke that smells like burnt rubber, that and it's hardly turning, guessing my water pump has packed it in? either that or the idler pully.

Easiest way to see what has seized is to remove the belt and turn each pulley by hand.

Yup righto, how difficult should it be to turn them or should any of them (including water pump) turn relatively freely?

Should turn easy.

Dont drive it, if its that stuffed.

just a bit of a tip DO NOT degrease to close to bearings, ive just changed water pump- belt- tensioner pulley because i ct 18 engine bay twice to get all mud out of engine bay after a trip and muddy water puddles we went through and next thing u know after degreasing every thing squeaked like a flock of sparrows in my engine bay
