D22 Steel Bullbar with Lightforce XGT 240's or Genesis

G'day All, new to this forum, I own a D22 Nissan Navara which i bought off my old man, currently looking at getting some new driving lights for it, it currently has Lightforce 170 striker driving lights, which have done the job just fine, however I'm looking to go a slightly bigger light Housing and something new.

Anyway wanted to know if anyone has put Lightforce XGT 240's on a Nissan Genuine Bullbar, from looking at photos i have found on google images, most people who has them installed, seems to have them protruding out in front of the bulbar itself, which I imagine would be asking for poor old skippy to come break them when as he gets bulldozed under the nav?

The other thing regarding that is, will they get make contact with the top part of the bullbar and break anyway if they are pushed back?

If the XGT's don't fit, i will probably go with the Lightforce Genesis.

Saw a D22 that looked just like yours heading north from Heatherbrae today, had a bike in the back too.

There's bound to be someone here with Lightforce XGTs.

I've got 240 xgts. Yes they stick out a bit so if a roo manages to hit dead centre they will go boom.

Hope no one was pinching my one! My nav is in getting a steel tray put on it in Albury atm, get it back in a couple of weeks.

Yagadam, do you find they get any rearwards travel when they are bumped, or do they go straight into the top rail?

roo lights?
I have had 240's for 3 yrs with no issues
they stick out little bit, haven't damaged them yet
same dimensions as lightforce
similar quality at nearly 1/2 the price
