Hi,
Just seeing if anyone has possibly ran into this before.
I got a rebuilt gearbox recently and installed it last weekend. Everything works perfectly fine but I noticed that reverse camera stopped working. Checked and same thing with reverse lights.
Have checked connections to the reverse switch and have also take the switch out and manually pressed in which works perfectly fine (reverse lights/camera came on) but when it is in the gearbox and I'm in reverse I get nothing.

If anyone has had this issue before, would be great to hear what the issue was.
2007 D40 4x4 Spain btw
Thanks

Edit: Didn't realise but there was a tiny push rod and ball that sits between the switch and the gearbox inside the housing that needs to be changed over as well.

Just waiting till after work so I can go to where I have the old gearbox to take out the part and put in new one. I had spoken to place I got the rebuilt one from and they said it will still be there. Apparently it's a common thing! Will update soon.

Can confirm, there were 2 pushrods I missed. 1 in the Neutral switch (which weirdly I thought stops the car starting if not triggered?) and the reverse one. Put reverse one in and all working. Learn something new every day I guess! (long one is for Neutral switch, short for reverse switch)
