D40 tray tent

Hi everyone,

Was going through youtube, and was watching the L200 vs navara clip.

And they showed a tent that is available for the D40 in the states and europe but not available here as yet.

Looks pretty good, anyone know of an aussie company making something simliar??

Looks quick to put up as well.

Ps I know roof top tents are great, but am lucky to fit the navara in my tiny shoebox garage.

Hey mate, not sure about the tent but I have been considering something like this guy has done "http://www.markdstephens.com/frontier/index.html" for my d22.

If you can afford the loss of storage to not have a canopy & just the draws it looks like a good clean setup. No drag from the tent on roof either.

Wow that guy has got smarts,
what a fantastic set up......
Obviously though thats a lot more expensive than the tray tents , which I found on U.S E bay for under $200 US.

But I like it very much

Yeah expensive but looks the goods. Would be even better if you could put the tent on the ground to hold you camping spot if there for a while... hmmm now to work out how cheap something similar could be done...
