Dandy 3" Exhaust

Bout to drop $610 delivered on a 3L 3" Turbo back Aluminised mild steel system on eBay. Anyone had any experience with these. Are they same as DEA and others out there? How was the install? How do you rate performance returns? Are there other alternatives? Local exhaust shop wants $900 fitted so figured I'd save $300.

Its the same mob. They are pretty good. I'm happy with mine, there are others on here that have used them.

How did u go fitting it, and where was best improved performance wise. Bottom, mid or top end?

Mine fitted up pretty easy. The hardest part is usually getting the stock dump pipe off. Have to remove a couple of studs from back of turbo. Id recommend soaking overnight in wd40 and then the tightening two nuts together (with a drop of locktite) to get them out 1st go first go. Failing that - blow torches and every mechanics trick you can find.
Power wise, like any big bore exhaust on these rigs - should give you a bit more bottom end. and some nice broom-broom noises.
