interestingly the lastest D22 does not have the pre filter.

Hmmmm........does new D22 use the same filter box and pickup from the same place in the mudguard, if it does you can probably buy the bit in intake pipe that goes from the filter box to the inner guard and remove the pre cleaner altogether.

Cheers Laith. As I don't have a snorkel yet, I have removed the pre filter. On the pipe going into the airbox, where the pre filter use to go in I have put some fly wire.

from what i have seen it uses the same filter and goes to the same location, so highly likly you could use that bit of intake pipe.

From what I have the air filter box on the CRD D22 are different to the D30 model's, they run a smaller filter.
