Drawers and tray liner

I have a tray liner an have some drawers on the way. Does the liner need to be removed to install the drawers?
I was thinking you might need to access some fixings or whatever.

The drawers in my '40 bolt down to the tie down rail in the floor.
They are like the ones around the tub walls but in the floor
There wasnt any mods needed or any removimg the liner.
Thats my story tho. It may depend for you what you have and what sort of drawers

The tub liner covers the floor so I cannot see if there are any tie downs.

Do you have the rails on the back and side of the tub?

I had a look under the liner and there are no rails, so it looks like just drill thru the liner and tub to bolt it in.
