Hi everyone, pick up my 2014 D22 ST-R on Tuesday. Excited !!
I have bought a blanking plate off eBay and was going to put it in as soon as i bring it home. Does anyone think this is a wise idea? Or should i wait a bit until i block it.
Cheers

good move. stop all the crap from building up from day one.

Yeah i wont be getting the car serviced at Nissan, instead, at my trusted mechanic. Would do it myself but dont have the magic stamp!
So i guess soon as i bring it home with 10kms on the clock, ill wack it in. Should i use some gasket goo or anything or just slap it in there?

Just slap it in. I did mine at about 6000km I think and I'm nearly at 50k now and never had any problems with Nissan servicing it... Doing it myself now cause its out of warranty anyway.....

Yeah its a good idea, i did it when my car had 300 km on it and my intake is very clean now at 48000 km.
