Egr/catch can

Hey fella's..Thanks to the info above I did the EGR mod and installed a catch can to my 2003 single cab Nav today...Haven't really noticed much difference but haven't driven it too far either...How long does it take for all the sludge and shit to start to clear from the inlet now that the EGR is blocked off...

it doesn't clear. it stays generally stays there.
to clean it out you will need to take the manifold off and clean the crud out.

blocking egr and catch can just stops it from getting worse.

Exactly what tweak said it doesnt clear which sux but definitely no more happening .... Did u disconnect swirl valve also?

Yep..I unlpugged it..I have had the Nav since new,10 years this year so I would think the build up in the manifold will be significant...Waiting to see how your intercooler looks and is priced as that's probably my next add on...
