extend gear stick after body blocks

hey guys, just recently installed 2" body block and realised that my gear stick now hits the barrier when changing into 2,4,6 and mostly reverse.
is there anyway to extend it or lengthen it to stop it hitting the back when I change gears? cheers

Yep, take it out and cut it in half. Weld in a section and refit. One of the reasons i decided against a body lift. I also plan to fit a custom centre console in the fututre.

If your not fussed with the length, just take out the centre plastic with the boot attached and you will see a piece of white plastic underneath. Trim that back with some side cutters and put it back, that it's where it's hitting on and should be fine. Done the same on mine takes five minutes and have no problem with it.

No need to extend the lever.
Just cut the plastic a bit or bend the lever forward
