So went out to narbethong/Toolangi way yesterday an had an absolute ball.
This was the first time I've actually got to do some tracks in the nav. And I tell what, it was fantastic. The way the nav handled itself gave me heaps of confidence to keep going.
I bottomed out a couple of times but that was due to my inexperience. Consequently I bent the passenger side step a little bit. No biggie, just adds character.
I went out with a mate in an 80 series with a 2" lift I went everywhere he did. He actually got stuck in a couple of places I didn't. But he had the recovery gear.
I had stock tyres and stock suspension. I left the tyre pressure normal until I had no traction, then we let 'em down to about 20Psi.
1 track in Toolangi I attempted almost ended up on my side due to an angle track with a drop on the right. My mate had to walk me back while reversing cause I couldn't turn around.
All In all had a great few hours and can't wait to do it again next week. Haha
2" suspension lift is definatly on the cards!!
