front diff

looking to change the oil in my front diff guys ,i take it its the plug nearest the wheel and not the the bolt nearer the centre of the engine,the bolt would be the engine oil wouldnt it ?, thanks giving it a go myself

drain bolt is bellow the diff, fill bolt is on the front cover. its a real pain to fill up actually. the engine pan and cross mount is in your way.

just remember to undo the fill bolt first !
by mem the use 1/2" square.

Yep 1/2" square drive. The fill plug is a total pain to get to. From memory I used a short extension bar on the end of the ratchet to get to the plug...

just hope its not as tight as the rear diff plug on our nav. not breaker breaker , a breaker bar.

looks awkward to get filler bolt ,i got an extension so should be ok,just a bash plate to remove,my new pump should fill diff back up in no time,thanks again everyone
