Fuel overflow pipe? diesel smell (hazard?!)

Hiya,

New member here hope everyones good!

I've got a pipe on the back of my Navara Outlaw that looks and smells like diesel, an overflow pipe or something? It's loose and not connected to anything i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of what to do! photos attached!

Anyone have an idea? I'm getting quite worried of the smell of diesel from it as a hazard!

thats a big issue.
thats the main breather pipe that goes up to the fuel cap. i guess someone didn't fit it properly when they did the body lift.
