Im curious to know if anyone is running any sort of aftermarket pressure sensor on their fuel rail? I had a look on the Autometer website and they offer a 52mm gauge that reads up to 30 000psi which would more than cover the Nav at 1700 bar/24656psi. Also how would you install something like this? It would be impractical to drill and tap a sensor into the rail due to the extremely high working pressures

My next question is: can I piggyback off the stock sensor and use it to run a Gauge such as the Autometer?

Cheers

Anyone tired this before? doesn't have to be on the fuel rail sensor it can be any sensor that reads 0 - 5V. Cheers

Couldn't you use a obd reader and the torque app for that on a yd25? Old Tony?

You could, providing you don't have a chip that modifies the fuel rail pressure. If you have a chip that modifies rail pressure, it will give an incorrect reading.

Yeah, the gauge needs calibrating anyway when first connected. Ill order one and have a play with it
