Fuel sedimenter

Hi, does anybody know what maintenance if any is required with the fuel sedimenter, is there a filter in there as such, is it like a secondary filter or is it just a water trap, cheers.

what year is it? I think only pre 07 models got the twin filters if this is what you are talking about. one in the standard location and a pre filter on the passenger side inner guard. if that's what you mean, they both need to be changed...

Ye, cheers it is a 2006 with the two, so that will have a filter in it, it doesnt mention it in the service book, will these be available repco etc.

there are about 4 or 5 different types of filters on the d40 range depending on where they were made. repco should have that one though. from memory it was a pretty common type of filter.. does it have any markings on it.
