hard roof canopy on D22 tub

hey guys just some pic's of the new canopy i build last weekend. just had the vinyl put on today and this weekend if i get time i well make the rack for the roof. the frames made from 40mm box 2.5mm thick which is welded to some 40mm angle 3mm thick and bolt to the inside edge of the tub with 4 10mm bolts. roof is 1.2mm alloy.

Do you have a close up of the attachment method?
I have the steel for a similar job sitting on the side path, but still looking about.
Any idea of the weight?

thanks guys. looking forward to finishing it off this weekend. it weights about 40kg and with the top rack it will be around the 50kg mark. nice and soild. heres apic with some measurements. 1200mm wide 1540mm long and the legs are 435mm long not sure on the angle just used a sidling bevel.

been a while, but finally built the rack for the canopy. just made it out of 20mm box steel. on holiday so time to finish fitting out the canopy.

Hey mate I was just thinking of doing the same but with a 25x25 stainless tube frame and building the out side out of ally checkerplate. My only concern is on the back of the tray it is rounded slightly where the brake lights are and I would build it square did you find it odd looking being square. I'm keen to hear any input from anyone I also will build it strong enough to mount a rooftop tent to
 
what size is the frame you made? i am tossing up weather to use 40mmx40mm x 3mm alloy box or 25x25x1.6 steel. i suppose what ever is lightest. both should carry the same weight
