Head light factory settings

Hi recently had one of those moments where you sit back and think why did I bother. I bought a set of high output bulbs off ebay (I know, I know) when I fitted them the light spread was every where but in front of the car, I tried to adjust the lens before realising the bulbs were dodgy and not putting out nearly as much light as the originals. Does any one know how to reset the lights back to factory settings? or is it a case of now just adjusting them till they are acceptable?

What year is your D22? SI or SII?

Thats a series 2.

Put it 2 metres from a wall and adjust the headlights so they are 800mm off the ground.

My brothers a panel beater, Ill ask him tomorrow.

Sorry just thought about it is that low or high beam or doesnt it matter?
