Hi guys

Probably a stupid question but I am installing my new 55w hid kit and am confused where the relay should be plugged in to.

Any chance someone could post a picture of their install?

Depends what kit you have? Hopefully you got a bi-xenon hi/lo kit and if so the relay should already be wired. You should just connect positive and negative power wires to the battery and plug the 3 pined adaptor into the existing headlight socket. Then connect all the hid parts together (bulbs, ballast etc) and it should work..
