How much does your D40 smoke?

Have you blocked your EGR? Give that a go.

Mine only smokes when i drive like a dickhead and floor it. Otherwise i never see smoke from mine. i have 120k on clock and no issues with smoke

ive noticed it with mine during 'moderate' acceleration. thought it was normal. will mention at next service.
