how much movement/vibration does your bullbar have?

Its not the bar mounts there tight and solid it is whilst driving over rough roads. the body mounts will be a bit of it forsure but the bar itself seems to shudder and vbrate/move a little.

Mines the same and it's a factory steel bar (made by ARB) this is the reason there is a 20mm gap above the top edges, to allow for the flexing, if it couldn't flex at all the mounts would break, the energy has to be released some how.

i was watching 4wd pro tips the other day, i think it was episode 20. there was a white d22 on there promoting brown davis bash plates. the bar and the body were both moving and at times they were actually touching, noticable if you look closely.

it wouldn't cause any problems, was barely touching but shows how the bar and body move.

the gap between the bar and body on my nav looked a bit bigger than this one, i don think mine would touch.
i think fitting instructions recommend 18-20mm gap.
