how to clean AC condensate

I have a 2008 D22 and lately I have been noticing a water sloshing sound from behind the dash and am guessing the AC condensate drain must be blocked.

The condensate drain coming through the fire wall has some moisture on it but I am not noticing any puddles of condensate under the car any more. I have tried to clean the drain with some wire but that has not made any improvement.

So the question is how do I get access to the AC system behind the dash?

I've had a bit of a look and it won't be easy, have a look in the passenger side foot well. One of those jobs i'd probably pay someone to do.
