So there's a Video on Youtube that shows how to remove the Old style side mirrors with a square type backing.
As it states in the Video you push the top of the mirror in and with a flat blade screw driver you push 2 tags in, after that it will need to be peeled up from the bottom to remove the mirror from 2 slide in docking tags.

Now the new style is a round mounting on the newer models are Very similar but to get them out you will need a thin long shaft flat blade.
Trick is to push the glass to the inside then very delicately slide the diver in from the outside of the mirror and unclip 3 or 4 of the tags and lightly pry it up with your finger tips and it will pull out.
ALSO FYI; Colour codes for Lights and motors:
Yellow- Indicator +
Blue- Indicator -
Brown- Step light +
Gray- Step light -
White, Red, Purple- Tilt motor
Orange + Green- fold motor C/O polarity for in/out
Indicators are LED
Step light are a 12v10w Wedge bulb.
