How to replace shackles

Hi guys
After some tips on replacing shackles as undoing springs freaks me out.
I'm thinking tis is how I do it.
Undo rear shocks
Jack car up till rear wheels are of the ground so springs aren't under tension
Support axle then remove old ones and install new ones and grease up is this correct I don't want to get smacked in the face buy a leaf spring

Wouldn't bother with the shocks mate.

Jack up and undo them last time I did it

just going to keep the MR ones for a while i think then maybe the bilstein
