Kelly or Kuhmo

Hi all,

I need new tyres & am considering either of the following in 245 75 16

Kelly Safari TSR ($306 ea)

Kuhmo KL71 ($280)

Who's had one or the other & what are they like?

I've had (265 75 16) TSR's on for about 12 months - great trye - have worn really well - great grip in the mud - a bit sus in sand (although I never let the tyre pressure down so they run at 28psi all the time - all conditions) - hang on well on the bitumen - good in the wet - surprsingly low noise - although now they are wearing they are getting a bit noisier.

Would not hesitate to buy them again.

I've had the KL71 for a couple of months and so far I rate them highly. Great off road and very respectable on the hard top. Noise is acceptable and no worse than my previous MTZ's.

Just personal preference - seems a good compromise for all conditions - including load carrying - on the dirt it makes the car move around a little bit but I kind of like that.

i had kl71s good off road good on road for noise but only lasted 14 months wear to quick for me
