looking for a price on a rear diff?

hey all
im a new member i have an 01' d22 str dual cab 3.0 td
and i just had my lsd in the rear diff break up and bust the diff seal and chew up all the gearing, my mechanic sourced a second hand diff for 1500 installed but some friends think that is pretty steep, any ideas?

While its out, put a VG30E powered D22 rear diff in.

H233B, 9 inch diff centre. Stronger then the C200 in the back now.

Same ratio to, your's should be 4.375 ratio.

Oh and around $800 for a complete diff.

No idea about up there mate.

I know Central Coast 4x4 have 1 or 2. But that's NSW.

Freight will be a killer though.

A few of the QLD guys will get on during the day.

Try googling QLD Nissan 4wd wreckers etc.

A complete diff isn't a hard install, put on a case of beer and get a mate or 2 to help.

Welcome to the forum mate. Try Niss 4x4 wreckers in Williamstown in Victoria. He will freight oz wide.
