Hi can anyone tell me what this message means on the sat Nav screen
spoke to a dealer/ .Nissan customer service / RAC breakdown
with no luck
Secure- system is locked Green. please contact your dealer
Only comes on the screen when engine is stopped

From what I can tell, the stereo unit is coded to the Nissan Anti Theft System (NATS). Has your unit come from a different car? It might need to be coded into the NATS (Nissan should be able to do this but they do like either gold bullion or first-borns for the privilege).

Thank you for your reply I have now found what the problem was .
It was also causing the radio to stay on .
I had purchased a rechargeable torch if you plug it into any of the three 12volt outlets it caused the fault
Tried another 12v lead problem gone

So the torch was feeding power back into the car?
