So think my battery is dying, it's been dead flat a few times now. Running accessories etc.

Looking at best new options, thinking optima blue top (d27) I think. What is the biggest and best I can squeeze in? 2012 D40 Spain.

I've got a Century 910CCA in mine, replacing the original 700CCA unit. Cost me somewhere around $260 or so.

Nothing wrong with Optima batteries - I have a D31A in the tub as a deep cycle.

I was reading they are crank and deep cycle, the one I looked at was 66ah and 800cca not sure how true this is.

Optima AGMs will do both and they're really hard to kill. It's just a lot of coin for a battery that is going in to a relatively harsh environment (a hot engine bay).
