Hi guys,

I have a set of Efs torsion bars and the drivers side torsion bar is much more difficult to adjust be it lower or higher then the passenger side. Any reason for this?

Could it be shock absorber related? If so how can I tell if one has failed?

They both have lots of adjustment available I have re indexed them. And the distance from the bottom of my wheel is 745-750mm.

Any help would be appreciated!!! Cheers

Id suspect a seized adjuster before thinking shocks... Might be the bolt seizing a bit in the adjuster, have you tried to lube it up with anything? Hopefully it wasn't cross threaded when the new bars were put in...

It's not cross threaded but lube could be helpfull I haven't used any at all. Thanks for the tip!!

It just seems it's under a lot more load or tension.

I have pulled the bolt completely out and it seemed fine didn't appear to have any cross threading however could be some dirt in there I have been on the beach and mud.
