Hi mate, i see you put a hard pipe from the turbo to your airfilter.
I want to do this also from the factory airbox to turbo, what is the diameter of the turbo inlet??
Looks as though i will need to get a piece of silicone pipe that reduces in size as the connection from the airbox is about 3 inches.

Hey mate yes you are right.. I used 3" to 2.5" reducer I do believe that the turbo inlet is a little bigger but the silicon stretches a little for a nice tight fit with no dramas at all.. Make sure you use reinforced silicon fittings.. Also the air box pipe is a little bigger as well then 3" but you can humour it in like the turbo pipe. Don't forget to tap the vacuum line from boost solinoid back into the 3" pipe good luck should be easy..

Is there any chance you can put together some detailed photos of the air box, I've given up trying to seal mine now, I'm going to go aftermarket.

I'm curious to see the hoses and sensors now you've managed to swap it out

Has it held up to be water tight?

Sure mate no worries, been swimming today with the nav all good water tight that's for sure.. Ill get some pics up tommro

Cheers mate.

I've looked them up. Did you buy the 'universal' one or the specific Navara one?
There's a huge price difference on eBay (search k&n Apollo Navara) and you'll see.
How much cheddar did yours run you if you don't mind?

Yeh it doesn't matter just buy the $110 free postage one it's the cheapest there all the same.. What is cheddar? Lol well I just got back from Webb road here in Loganlea it's flooded over and I got really excited so I went for it! It ended up being almost half way up my windshield keeping the wave going next time I might go with someone lol just incase but to answer your question about water tight for the air box.. All good as a matter of a fact ill take some pics now for ya!

Here are the pics of the airbox, as you can see I cut the hole for the maf sensor with the dremel and used some self tap screws to fit it off.. You need some door jam seal or some rubber to seal it off.. I got some rubber I want to install between the maf and air pipe which is next on my list to do..I haven't had any issues with mine but ill need to tidy it up when I remove all the cooler piping and clean it out.. Never did that after I installed the catch can so that's long overdue.. But yeh basically it's water tight I used a plastic flange from supercheap to bolt to the snorkel outlet which comes with a rubber seal behind it.. You will get the idea once you start fiddling with it

They aren't everyone's cup of tea, but the Ironman rear steps are well priced. A bit under $700. If you are handy with a welder etc, you can modify it a bit to suit your liking. Or pay an extra $200 and get an MCC 4x4 rear jack bar. They look awesome.

Yeh would love either of them over this crap, but honestly I'd rather put 700 toward my suspension.. I'm going to arb tomorrow and get myself a beaver bar and drop that in a remove that eye sorer.. I heard there only about 100bux..

Stoked! After I finish work ill pick it up and put it on.. Does it take long to fit one, I just read a post of yours an looks good.. Did you end up color coding it yet?

Nah im gonna leave mine black. Going for a black and silver theme. Just gotta Plastidip the sportsbar and either dip the nudgebar or get rid of it.

Panel took about 20 minutes to fit. Comes with really detailed instructions. Taking the factory chrome bar off takes longer. It's a pain in the arse. But the panel is so stupidly easy to fit. It uses existing holes on the back and you just bolt it on. Super simple.

What about the number plate lights do they come with it?
