Plugging in Trailer casues Hazard light fuse to blow

Long tile but it explains it well.
Whenever i plug my trailer in without doing anything else my Hazard light relay fuse blows.
All other lights still work including the separate indicators . It seems very strange as the Left and Right indicator cables are shared by the hazard light relay (Orange and Purple cable in the rear light loom). And then the earth return is a black cable in the loom. So the first thing i did when tapping into the loom i metered each cable out to identify them, also searched this forum to double check. So ive done the same as a couple of other people with D22.

So what could of i missed. Ive tested the trailer on another car and it has no issues.

could be your car wiring, has it ever worked ?
have you tried another trailer on your car ?

Blown Fuse

Mate I had the same problem with my D22 and my local Auto Electrician said to put a bigger fuse which I did and the problem was solved. Hope this helps.
