Dunno but good question. Interestingly, in my house I changed 4 12V halogens to cheap LED's and then experience interference on a portable FM radio here in the house. As it's 12V A.C. I thought maybe this because of some sort of oscillation, half wave rectification thing?? After all they are diodes but interesting you have this on a DC circuit.
